New cryptocurrency concepts

Bitcoin, litecoin and a few others on thier way up and for good reason. I think its safe to say unless governments step in and squash cryptocurrencies they are here to stay. That being said, i think there needs to be a very hard fork and some reworks in the cryptocurrency game before potential problems rear thier ugly heads. With Cryptocurrencies coming to full fruition, it wont be long until you may be able to obtain a loan based on your crytpo wallet, when that happens i believe the abilities of smart contracts will need the possibility of being edited, regenerated or voided so to speak. Lets say i obtain a loan to purchase a car based on my wallet profile, and i then default on that loan, the bank, individual, or other entity has only the legal recourse to reposses the vehicle and take thier losses or decide to sue for thier losses which in most cases cost them more than what they're loosing to let it be. However if the loan was secured with proof of funds from a crypto wallet, and a smart contract generated that was capable of being manipulated by the issuer, several measures could be taken to force the completion of the loan.
I.e. the smart contract could place a hold on the full amount of cryptocurrency until the debt was successfully settled, and it would only exchange the remainder of the loan if the loan was not fully executed thus keeping the purchaser from using their crypto wallet to live above their means. Too often, companies, and individuals stretch themselves out too thin, something happens and more than just that person or company end up loosing on their end of the deal. If its a company that looses, consumers ultimately pay for that loss and usually the economy suffers as well driving costs up and consumption down if those cost hikes out of reach for the majority of consumers. I'm not saying there is a way for cryptocurrencies to completely void all loss in the economy, but it does have to potential if we use it, to help stabilize economies by enabling truly smart contracts, and in my opinion the current "smart contracts" arent very smart at all, if its created and unable to be modified, deleted, renegotiated ever, we stand to see the same issues in cryptocurrencies that the original creator was hoping to sidestep. What do you think?
