Conclusion / Personal experience
I think the concept of VALU has a lot of potential.
Valu recognizes the importance of social media followers and rewards it, which is a great start.
But in my opinion it still lacks simplicity - the user experience definitely has to be improved.
The site is still quite confusing for new users (especially those who are new to cryptocurrency) and what they lack is an easy start guide or an animated video which explains the whole concept.
I have personally signed up at VALU to test it about a month ago, it took a few days until my account got approved, but then ths site temporarily went offline.
I checked back today and discovered that valu.is is fully functional again now, so for any Steemians that want to sign up, give it a try!
VALU has a great concept and I'm sure that it could become a very successful project if they work on their user experience and make the structure more clear and simple for new members.

Valu is truly a wonderful service. However, since the Japanese Youtuber misused it, the reputation got worse. For a while, it was a service with a large number of accesses, but it is getting cooler now.

Great suggestion. They run on Bitcoin too which makes them really solid. These related-bussiness that focus on usability and production are much better investments than ICOs in terms of risk-reward.
