The hoax circulated on Sunday on different forums online, stating that Vitalik got into a car accident and died due to severe injuries. Vitalik being the creator of Ethereum, has left such an impact that investors started to pull their money out doubting the future of Ethereum. Ethereum plunged down to $260 after floating above $300 for a few days. The rumors were denied shortly after being posted online but it shows the value of Vitalik in the crypto world, especially for Etherium. Even though the entire market is facing a rough time due to other reasons, the volatility of the market is such that hoax and rumors can create huge differences in the market within minutes.
