I do not think there is a need for a graphical interface! I am doing a web system, connected via api! Which in addition to allowing trading will allow you to see the gaancias of the coins you own, whether by hour, week or month with their respective graphics and more ... follow me to be aware of the launch! Well, we already have a GUI, remember we released this in 2014 and it is a software for master-traders & market-makers who do not want to use a third party website to run their secure trades. I would never put my keys with anyone.com.
Most platforms with API restfull have the activation of whitdraw and trading to be activated separately, ie you can give your keys to a Coins broker (to call it somehow), and this will only be in charge of trading, in addition There can be many alerts on the platform in case someone wants to take advantage of the trading ... I think just like infinite security has infinite costs
This leaves me the possibility of creating a simple program where you place your keys locally and you can interact with the Cryptomanes and then upload this information as csv, in fact my purpose is the information that happens with your investment in time ...
There are many problems with your centralised solution.
The first one I would have to rely on YOU to have a better uptime then I do, and I can guarantee myself 100% uptime because I run my own software on my own hardware as close to the exchange as possible.
The second problem is inside information... my portfolios, my amounts etc would be able to leak out to you that can see which accounts I have and what I trade and how much I trade with. I prefer as much privacy and anonymity and freedom as possible.
Quatloo-Trader give me all that + It does not cost me anything to Hold QTL to use the Quatloo-Trader.

The software you can install for you in your VPS, extract graphics and others, all WEB !!!
But I have been interested in creating a desktop application, to visalize and to do trading, and if you want either in your server or with a broker raise the csv to ODOO every so often and thus to be able to see more alternatives live or from time to time!
