Kodak announces ICO - Stock jumps 44%
"Kodak is today announcing a partnership with Wenn Digital to create a “photo-centric cryptocurrency” that will “empower photographers and agencies to take greater control in image rights management.” Because why not. It’s 2018. The company’s stock jumped 44% on the news and is currently trading at $4.30, up 37.60 on the day."
How crazy is this guys that ICO are starting to become a new financial instrument, a new way to raise more money, for established companies like Overstock and Kodak. Which company is next and how is this going to change the way people invest? Are ICOs going to become a completely normal thing in the next 2-3 years? Exciting stuff!

This whole development is really looking interesting! Do you know how the backlash in Banking and Securities systems in the USA is going to blow up? They are NOT going to be happy about this development . . . at all.
Where's my popcorn? hahaha
I know! You're so right. I added a story yesterday about the death of ICOs. Well it might be a little bit exaggerated, but IPOs have not been going great for a whole bunch of companies and ICOs have been going exceptionally well for companies that ... well barely have a product and no customers in many cases. I also love the idea of how a company like Kodak, for instance, can run as many IPOs as they like in theory. They could be related to different product/service offerings, different technologies. As IPOs are connected to a company's asset, it's way more limited.
power of the crypto!
Exactly! Just another news article that shows us the potential of this fast moving train we've all decided to buy a ticket, I mean tokens, for.
Kodak stock actually went up by 89% (January 10).
