Are you new to Cryptocurrency and wanting to learn more? Well here are some links to sites that I use. I am not an expert but I use most of these sites and services often. I thought I would share this information to save others the time that it took me to research them and look them all up. I feel these links are a good starting point for newbies in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

First off you want to be secure so use a password manager such as LastPass.
https://www.lastpass.com/

Secondly enable 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) on all accounts that allow it. This steps up your security by generating a code on your phone that you type in while logging in to different sites.

Two of the most common 2FA that I personally use are:
Google Authenticator & Authy

There are many out there but these two work well for me you only need one but I still use both. You can download them in your app store. If you choose a different one make sure it is from a legit provider.

To buy Bitcoin I recommend using Coinbase to start out its easy to use for beginners wanting to buy their first coins.

Once you have coins it is safer to store them in offline wallets.

The method I prefer to store coins offline is a hardware wallet such as the Trezor or Ledger to store bitcoin offline safe from hackers. Also make sure the wallet supports the type of coin you want to store.
Here is some more info on those: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/cryptocurrency/wallets/

To use paper wallets to store your bitcoins go here: https://www.bitaddress.org/

Here are good instructions on how to use bitaddress.org: https://www.wikihow.com/Store-Bitcoin-with-a-Paper-Wallet
I personally have not used the paper wallet method but I thought I would share in case you are interested.

You can also store your coins in online wallets but it is not as secure because in most cases you do not posses your private keys.

After you get comfortable using Coinbase for awhile and want to branch out into other cryptocurrencies you can use exchanges to buy other coins. Currently coinbase only supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.

Here are a some that I use:
https://bittrex.com/
https://poloniex.com/
Binance is another one that I have heard good things about but I have not started using yet but plan to try it out soon.

If you want information on others available go here: https://www.bestbitcoinexchange.io/

These are a few more sites I visit often that have good information that I find useful

https://coinmarketcap.com/
https://www.coingecko.com/en
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/

Well I hope you find this information useful if you are just starting out with investing in cryptocurrencies or even if you have been investing for awhile. This is my first post on Steemit and since my research in currencies lead me here I thought I would share what I have learned with others. I am not affiliated with any of these sites they are just the ones that I am familiar with and use often. Do your own research and only invest with amounts that you are comfortable in losing because crypto currencies are very volatile. Use these links and invest at your own risk Feel free to reply with your favorite sites or tips for others if you like.

Thanks for reading my post!
