Cryptocurrency theft
The introduction of cryptocurrency has made us to become our banks. Before now you can't walk around with large amount of money , because the physical Size of the money will let people know that you're carrying huge sums.
These days we can walk around conveniently with millions of dollars without any big suitcase or any money bag. Cryptocurrency has made the movement of large money easier and lighter, cryptocurrencies and has also saved us from too much bank charges.
Despite the ease of carrying millions around in a digital form, cryptocurrencies has also made its users more closer to losing all their money in just a split second.
I've read several cases where a man was robbed at gun point, and all his money was stolen from his wallet. All the Thief did was to just force him to open his cryptocurrency wallet and send the money.
But physical Thiefs are not the only threats to the use of cryptocurrencies, hackers pose greater threats.

To prevent losing all your money in just a split second, I always advice people to have the same behavior they had when they were using banks, which are
Have several wallets where you store your digital assets. (same way some of us have several bank accounts).
Have a wallet where you keep huge sums, you can call it your fixed deposit crypto account, the wallet app shouldn't be in your phone and carry out all security measures recommended by the company.(at lease Google authenticator)
Don't put all your life savings into cryptocurrency yet because once stolen all is gone, always invest the amount that you can live without when stolen.
If you love using Android or ios wallet, please, get another phone, one for private use (where your monies are and other for calls, texting etc), someone might borrow your phone to make a call and might not return it.
I also known you're reading this from steemit.com, keep your Steemit password account very safe, cuz the price of steem will hit and surpasse $10 in no time.
