John Mcafee On The Lam Fleeing To Venezuela and Running for President While on his Sailboat
If you follow John Mcafee and his insane Twitter feed you're probably already aware of this but John Mcafee has recently been charged by the IRS with Felony Tax Evasion.
He's decided to flee the country and is currently Tweeting and Livestreaming his departure from the US and his voyage to Venezuela. The best part, he plans on running for President from his boat.
For those of you guys who don't know who John Mcafee is, he's the creator of the Mcafee anti-virus program and a very wealthy and eccentric dude. He came to notoriety in 2016 and 2017 during the cryptocurrency hype of 2017 after making outrageous statements like he'll eat his own dick of Bitcoin isn't at 1 Million by 2020. Mcafee was also popular and big in the space at that time for promoting and shilling a lot of ICO's during that period.

This is pretty insane. It is kind of nuts that he hasn't even filed tax returns for 8 years. I'm actually surprised how long it takes the IRS to take action on these types of situations to be honest with you.
He is kind of a shart stain on crypto to be honest. I guess those scammy ICOs were paying him $100,000 / tweet to pump their coin which was nuts. Probably the SEC will try to nail him with some stuff as well.
I think all this might be entertainment for us to watch but I just fail to understand why he wouldn't just chill out some and live the dream and pay some to the IRS....etc. Why stand his ground so much.
Wow. So his paranoia has finally come true - "They" are after him... Run, Johnny Boy, run!!!! This will be a true test of cryptocurrency's power! Can this digital money successfully evade capture, all the while supporting McAfee's pursuits! We shall see!! Either way, I'm sure it'll be one helluva ride.
