AMD is launching it's new RX VEGA series cards this weekend, 8/14 and everyone is anxious to get one. Here's why. Rumors from OCUK say that mining ethereum with the X64 have shown it hitting between 70-100 MH/s. That's a big deal. Add to that the price tag for these cards starting at $399 for the X56, the one mentioned above at $499 X64 and you have a serious mining rig to build. However 2 things to keep in mind:

1. Another rumor says the cards will cost much more, but come with a rebate when you register with their gaming community.
2. The MH/s rate is still unconfirmed. 

I'll be picking up the $399 card as it's not a lot of money out of pocket and I'm in for the long haul on mining. Besides, I can trade up when a better card comes along.

Finally a podcast dedicated to crypto & blockchain worth listening to! Laura Shin - Business Journalist with Forbes covering the Cryptosphere, interviews guests on the latest blockchain/crypto happenings. I've only had a chance to listen to a few episdodes, but they have all been quality. She interviews bigger named players in the blockchain/crypto world and gives us great content to digest and use to navigate this crazy blockchain space. Steemit is mentioned in the May 16th episode.
