It seems there are some positive developments relating to in-browser cryptocurrency mining.
After a lot of negative news initially, it seems we now have some projects that are taking the right approach.
More specifically, Inwemo shows it is possible to conduct “webmining” as it should be done.
An opt-out feature is certainly appreciated, for obvious reasons.
