Korean Business Adopts Bitcoin Cash & Drop Bitcoin Core (BTC)

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago (edited)

Korea is one of the hot spots for cryptocurrency innovation and adoption. Be a fly on the wall as myself and the Bitcoin.com spread Bitcoin Cash through Seoul and the rest of South Korea.

If you enjoy the behind the scenes vlogs, we love hearing from you and hearing your story, so don't forget to hit the like button and post a comment under the video.

Just curious on why the post was down-voted?

Roger Ver is now a con-man, openly an enemy of Bitcoin. He's been hindering adoption of a global fair money at least 10x more than any good he might have done to BTC in the past.

BTC fees have been arround 1sat per bytes for the last 8 months. It went down to ~3 cents per tx when some scumbags (maybe Bitmain / big-blocker cabal) stopped spamming the chain for political influence.

BCH opted for "Transfer of va..." which is hard to do without "store of value".

They should change name because 99% of the value BCH currently has is literally stolen from BTC via confusion and deceptive marketing like shown proudly in the video.

Bullshit. Let the market decide. Maybe the flags are in place of a rational argument? If the market decides, why be worried?

Does an exchange suddenly list the S&P 500, but call it SP500Cash?

Does Honda copy the Mustang, but calls it Mustang Cash?

Does another country's treasury start printing Yuan notes and calls it Yuan Cash?

You are enabling a liar to spread his lies, dupe newbies with his duplicitous and false claims -- yet you say its the "market".

The only "market" here, is how far Roger Ver will go with his ego to shove the falsehoods down your throat.

But I know you're the head boot-licker, so I don't expect any traction.

BCash is a litmus test for logic and ethics -- and you failed it.

Does Honda copy the Mustang, but calls it Mustang Cash?

Why would a car company add cash to its name? I get what you are trying to say here, but by that logic, why ETH and ETC?

If the coin is shit, as you seem to think, the market will show this.

You guys all sound pretty whiny. Where’s the argument?

But I know you're the head boot-licker, so I don't expect any traction

I am? That is news to me! I’m just a blogger nobody that is interested in both coins.

Oh well.

The classic ETH is ETC.

The new ETH fork won the economic majority as commodity based blockchain resource. (near useless as a store of value either-ways)

BCH did not.

Monies are not commodities to one-another.

BCH will either take over BTC or will die a slow dead, I think the later bet is safer.

So BCH did not win the majority. Thus the name was changed. What’s the big deal?

You are arguing in very simplistic terms. Are you drunk?

I don't care about forks of Bitcoin that want different rules.

I do care about forks of Bitcoin PRETENDING THEY ARE BITCOIN.

Guess which fork of many is doing that?

That's right, BCash.

And you still can't see it? Either you're concern trolling, or you have some mental block with logic.

If this is the quality of people that Roger Ver attracts to his cause, no wonder they're floundering like idiots.

All caps. Bizarre insults. No actual argument or pertinent rebuttal. This is about what I expected, unfortunately. Have a good day.

No answer to the mimicry and attempted usurping of Bitcoin?

So that is what passes for logic in your world, a head buried in the tarpit of ignorance.

Pathetic.

Nobody in the crypto community with an IQ above 25 has trouble differentiating between BTC and BCH.
BCH is the spiritual continuation of Bitcoin since it works as cash on-chain rather than just as a store of value. Therefore it has the moral right to use the name.
Your posts would be more pleasant without all the insults. They still wouldn't make a lot of sense, but they'd be nicer.

You're just another useful idiot that has nothing to say beyond Ver talking points and your own muddled thinking.

"Spiritual" -- get out of here with that bullshit, man you're really that pathetic that you think this whole scam is something noble?

Moral right, lol -- once the dust settles and BCash is relegated to the dustbin of history, all of you simpletons need to get together and form your own nation state of ethically lapsed mental defectives.

Just so we can keep an eye on all of you - not that there are many.

As for pleasantries, how about a downvote? You worked hard for it.

It's not a scam to try to keep Bitcoin functioning as described by Satoshi.

You don't have to say when you downvote me, you do it more or less all the time. I one the other hand only downvote you when you use insults - the difference between civilized discourse and thuggery.

Of course, since few of your posts are free from insults, in effect this means I downvote almost all of your comments too. :-)

Pseudo-intellectualism isn't your strength.

Here, have a downvote, since you obviously can't help yourself.

Transisto you need to at least recognize that Core developers (regardless of motivations) made a system that looks nothing like the Bitcoin design at this point. I can't even recognize the sound money that Satoshi invented just a few years ago.

BTC opted for store of value, which is very very hard to do without having some basic use value. All of the Austrian economists knew this. Same for having a quota on blockspace that is set below market demand. That makes it a fractional reserve system.

Bitcoin Cash is at least still usable as cash. The money people held is still accessible with their private keys. It at least adheres to the design. If you dislike Roger (I know he has his flaws), that's understandable. But I'm still not ready to call him a conman merely for saying that Bitcoin Cash essentially is Bitcoin or for being aggressive in his marketing and business deals. Not any more than the Core crowd conned me and still cons people using Bitcoin.org, r/Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk. They're only far more successful at it so far.

You are so far down into the BCash pit, you can't even see the sky.

For the newbies and those who are willing to read something (I know you sure as hell won't), I suggest this article on "The Bitcoin Standard" a excellent book by Saifedean Ammous.

https://medium.com/@craigjaquish/saifedean-ammouss-the-bitcoin-standard-the-new-standard-for-bitcoin-books-173f16e224a7

Money has traditionally had three facets: medium of exchange, store of value, and unit of account.

Vijay has a great twitter thread on this here, and how BCash has flubbed it -- https://twitter.com/real_vijay/status/1031686632137605121?s=19

You can't just pick one facet and discard the other - like Roger Ver has with BCash.

For Bitcoin, scaling has been achieved by using the broadcast model as the base, with layers built on top like Lightning for extensibility -- https://medium.com/@melik_87377/lightning-network-enables-unicast-transactions-in-bitcoin-lightning-is-bitcoins-tcp-ip-stack-8ec1d42c14f5

Anything else doesn't make sense - TCP/IP is built this way, and so is Bitcoin.

All the Cashies have is yet-another-fork coming because you guys are floundering in the dark -- https://twitter.com/CobraBitcoin/status/1032777354643496961

And you rationalize the mimicry and blatant scamming by saying its "aggressive marketing"?

Is everyone in BCash as ethically compromised as you? It would explain a LOT of what is going on.

You're doomed to fail, and we're trying to save you -- and the newbies.

Pay attention.

Money has traditionally had three facets: medium of exchange, store of value, and unit of account.

You can't just pick one facet and discard the other - like Roger Ver has with BCash.

This is just a blast to hear from you guys. It's your side that has used the pseudo-Austrian lines supposedly based in the actual valid "store of value" arguments of notable libertarians, which I have repeatedly refuted using Austrian economics and the works that these people (such as Mises, Rothbard, even Rand) produced. You're so full of crap frankly that I can't hold back from laughing anymore. :p

The rest, well it's just the same old same old that I've answered and you keep misrepresenting. Not entertaining enough to get into.

Bitcoin should scale as Bitcoin or what is the point. Network consolidation is part of the design and users don't trust nodes by using SPV.

Hopefully either BTC will get back to this or BCH will achieve it in the meantime.

Don't take it from me. Do your own research.

You're so enured, you have to wipe your face to keep the shit out of your eyes.

Hilarious.

Let us know how your multi-forked shitcoin fares -- Its all about the "vision" right?

Too funny. You deserve exactly what you get for being such a clueless twat.

And what do I get? A smile on my face?

Or do you expect me to cry if a coin does not work out? Wake up. Risk is a constant and something anyone who gets involved in cryptocurrency must be aware of sooner or later.

I'm personally not overinvested anywhere. Only in the truth. While many will not see the errors blatantly, you don't tell it very often.

It's easy to conjure up smears and populist half truths just because you think something your dead set on in your mind requires it. None of that impresses me.

But do go on. Many will settle for only one side of the story until that doesn't work anymore. We'll see where we are at that point. I'll be smiling still, because I'm not motivated by the things you are.

You are just one of the many clueless idiots that support scammers and liars.

How proud you must be, to be on the front lines licking Ver's boot. You've lost, you just don't know how badly yet :)

Thank you!

Now lets track revenues, from the quarter before, and after the switch... lol

Absolutely. Why not. That's what you'd expect any business to do.

You'd be surprised.... I've seen many smaller businesses who just operate without reallt analyzing quarterly financials more than sending an email to their cpa...

Good work Roger. I appreciate your contribution to Steemit. It's a shame you can't get the monetary reward for your post that you deserve.

Looking forward to getting one of these if the price is right!
