“The requirements are as follows:

  • coins were mined in the period from 2008 to 2010 inclusive;
  • at least 300 BTC produced;
  • Wallet.dat or private keys are accepted;
  • the wallet should currently contain 0 BTC. You will not be able to use it again;
  • I will purchase up to three wallets that meet the above criteria "
    WalletBuyer added that he would pay for the purchase in stages, possibly through an escrow account. He also warned that it would be difficult to deceive him:

“I know about various zero-day vulnerabilities, including WinRAR exploits. Please do not waste your and my time if you are a crook. I am not easy prey
Altana Digital Altana Digital Currency Fund Investment Director Alister Milne was one of the first to share this information on social networks.

"I wonder who it could be?"

Also soon a related topic appeared on Reddit:

somebody is paying $ 5,000 for old mining wallet in bitcointalk.org. why he did this? for what?

Users immediately began to express various guesses about the identity of the author of the ad. Many have suggested that only Craig Wright or Faketoshi, as he is often called in the crypto community, can be interested in buying old wallets.

One of the users stressed that the announcement indicates 2008, when the first bitcoin block had not yet been generated.

“2008 ?! Idiotic mistake. This is exactly Faketoshi. ”
We previously reported that Craig Wright declared himself Satoshi Nakamoto in a letter to the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Also recall that in 2017, Craig Wright made a puncture, confirming that he is not the mysterious creator of Bitcoin.
