What is BandZ and what it means for the future of the internet?
According to BandZ White paper: “ BandZ is a global p2p extranet project with the aim of making internet connections censorship-resistant, secure, cheaper, as well as accessible over larger distances and in low infrastructure areas. Blockchain software is being built to provide the services that will be available to BandZ users on its extranet (VPN, rotating proxy, secured communications, mesh networks, and more).”
What that all means in not so technical words is that BandZ Is a network that aims to use a decentralized form, thanks to the Blockchain technology, with the purpose to give the users an accessible, convenient, easy and cheaper way to experiment the internet. We won't have to be afraid of paying; high rate prices for internet usage, we not have to change our sim cards or network connection no more to enjoy the beauty of the internet, and all the difficult time that the roaming can give us can be completely avoided. Meaning that we can have network connection in any place in the world at any moment we want.
Talking about the good old decentralization
Everybody with a least of experience in the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, knows that; decentralization had a number of advantages that make it the ideal options for something like this.

With a decentralized system, all participants, traders, third party developers, creators and companies, interact peer-to-peer with each other. A market participant trading directly with each other on decentralized platforms is faster and more efficient. In this case, there are no intermediate processes and protocols that would otherwise have slowed down the negotiation process.
All of this means that BandZ can remove the shocking grip of the autonomy that the internet providers possess out there and make sure that we can get the better end of it, and this is mostly true for people in not so developed country (like myself), that such networks and internet providers are most of the time utterly useless, but the people have to pay them nonetheless.

Mesh Networks are a kind of local network topology in which the nodes can be connected directly, dynamically and in a non-hierarchically way to other nodes as possible and cooperate with one another to efficiently route the data to the clients.

Well I'll like to begin in pointing the fact that using fewer wires means that it will cost a lot less to set up, mesh networks being the kind of network that is used for large areas of coverage, using it eliminates the cost and complexity of installing all that enormous set of wires
Secondly it's extremely adaptable and expandable. Depending on how much coverage is needed, the nodes can be added or removed, this is extremely useful where networks configurations are intermittently blocked, also can be use when wall connections may lack. Such as in outdoor environments.
Last but no least important is that this network connection can support the high demand of the users. Delivering indoor and outdoor connectivity.
