In Memoriam Anna Hejka

Dear DasCoin Community,
It is with a very heavy heart and tremendous sorrow that I write you about the passing of Anna Hejka, our beloved friend, colleague and the Chairman of the DasCoin Board of Directors. Yesterday morning, Anna departed our lives unexpectedly when she succumbed to a sudden but aggressive form of lung cancer after a very brief illness. Our hearts and prayers are with her husband, Piotr, who is now confronted with the sudden and devastating loss of his beloved soulmate.
Besides being a dear friend and an invaluable collaborator, Anna was an inspiring leader and role model for so many people throughout the world. Her spirited delivery on stage at many of our global events left an impression on us that will never be forgotten. She was the epitome of passion, professionalism, intelligence and commitment, and she will be missed in ways that words cannot describe.
In the coming days, we will celebrate Anna’s remarkable life with a tribute that we intend to share with the entire DasCoin community. We will also share any other relevant information as it becomes available.
In such a tragic moment like this, I want to invite all of you to unite in the appreciation of the precious gift of life that we have each been given. Please join me in sending Anna our love, praying for her soul and offering our sincerest condolences to Piotr and the other loved ones she has left behind.
