Verge and Spotify Potential Partnership ⚠️⚠️⚠️
There has been speculation lately regarding a Verge and Spotify partnership. This partnership would be a huge success for Verge as they already made a great partnership announcement with one of the largest adult industry website Pornhub. The partnership involved a privately held company Mindgeek that owns over 85% of all the adult entertainment industries apps and websites.
One of Verge's core team members, "Cees Van Dam" started a campaign by informing the Verge community to help with the thought of a partnership with Spotify. Cees Van Dam brought a good point by stating the exposure this partnership would bring to many users to begin using cryptocurrency.

The Wait Is On Spotify
Although Verge has reached out to Spotify, a response is now waiting from Spotify. The message was clearly reached to Spotify as it was heavily promoted on Twitter and certain media outlets.
The Value of This Partnership
The last partnership announcement with Pornhub caused a pump and dump which can be frustrating for many investors. This partnership would increase the value of Verge in a tremendous way due to the popularity of Spotify. This partnership will be a great way for Cryptocurrency to be adopted. According to www.statista.com, "Spotify had 70 million paying subscribers worldwide"(Statista 2018). This would be huge exposure for Verge and the trend of cryptocurrency. This would be beneficial to both Verge and Spotify as it would expose more customers to use their services.

I am highly doubtful that Spotify would allow such a tie-up to occur, there is too much commercial down-side of partnering with a crytocurrency that made waves by teaming with pornhub. Especially, considering its' core user base and the recent 10% share swap with chinese music titan tencent/TME, who would oppose such a collaboration.
Who knows...
