How to mine crypto with HDD
Now, you might be thinking "There is no way that’s possible" and I assure you it is...
Burstcoin is a cryptocurrency that I believe started around 2014...
How to mine:
Download QBundle from here
After installing, run it...
If you want solo mining you MUST use a local wallet (this means you must download the entire blockchain)
I used an online wallet to save time
Click on the new user option...
You will be given a mnemonic phrase (DO NOT LOSE THIS OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR ACCOUNT)
After confirming your phrase you should be at the dashboard
At the toolbar on the top of the window, click "Tools > Plotting > *The first option*"
Choose where you want to allocate the HDD space
Then go back into the dashboard window and click "more info" under account balance
Copy the numeric account ID
Paste it into the second text box
Choose amount of space to allocate
Click start plotting (This will take a while!)
After plotting is done Enter "Tools > Miner"
Select either solo mining or pool mining
Import plot file you created
Click start mining...
You are now mining Burstcoin with your HDD... Yay!
