Several more scientists were detained for this case.

According to BBC news, the incident took place at the Federal Nuclear Center in Sarov, one of the closed cities created by the SU mainly for nuclear research.
These cities are off-limits to travelers and aren’t even marked on Russian maps.

A spokesperson, Tatiana Zalesskaya said,

"Their activities were stopped in time,”.
She added more:
“The bungling miners have been detained by the competent authorities. As far as I know, a criminal case has been opened regarding them.”

Some reports have published that the group was trying to use the center’s supercomputer to mine Bitcoin.

And thus they are detained otherwise.

I dont know if it is injustice to them or not..
But I think they should be given a last chance !
