Pre-installed Bitcoin wallets coming to next Huawei smartphones

Huawei Technologies, known for its Huawei smartphones has announced that people who use the Huawei mobile phones will be able to download Bitcoin wallets. Further to this, Bitcoin Wallets will be pre-installed on the newer versions of Huawei phones.

 This announcement will further take Bitcoin down the mainstream path! -ToshiTimes 

Currently, China has blocked much of  the digital world, including Android’s Google Play Store and some of  Apple’s App Store. However some Chinese are still holding cryptocurrencies.

Huawei has dominated the Chinese market when it comes to mobile phones, with a  share of 20.4%, last year, 2017. 

Hence Huawei’s vice president, Jaime  Gonzalo feels that Huawei can increase more presence in the Chinese  market with cryptocurrency being adopted in the mobile phones.  

 “It’s a good opportunity to tap into the  Chinese market. The use of cashless payments with apps is very big and  the traditional banking system is lacking, so there’s a good use case  for crypto payments to grow there.” - Alejandro de la Torre, vice president of business operations at BTC.com,
