Dear QUOINERS,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

I just came back from The 9th Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul, South Korea, where I had the opportunity to share the innovation and disruption of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

There the audience were not the typical crypto enthusiasts, but it was the first time the Asian Leadership Conference had a full session around blockchain. At the end, I summarized cryptocurrency and blockchain as economic freedom and democratization of finance… exciting times.

Now back to my weekly update.

1. Product Development

ICO Mission Control

Our Initial Coin Offering (ICO) platform on QRYPTOS has been running smoothly for 2 weeks featuring 2 major components:

1. ICO Mission Control is an end-to-end solution designed to help blockchain project teams conduct an ICO in a flexible, secure, transparent and rapid manner that adheres to the highest standards of KYC and AML and offers a fast path to secondary market trading on our exchange.

2. ICO Market is where QUOINERS can safely and easily participate in ICOs.

Our first ICO on the ICO platform, the Vuulr ICO, is ongoing until May 31 and you can still join the token sale by going to https://qryptos.com/ico/VUU.
The Vuulr team is building the world’s largest digital marketplace for studios and broadcasters to buy and sell films and TV shows via blockchain technology. The earlier you join the ICO, the more bonuses you will get.

This week we added in Korean language support for the ICO Market and ICO Mission Control.

Events:

• This week, our Head of North America Nick Chong presented at NYC Block Asia on the topic of “Perspectives on the Asia Market: AI, IoT, and Professional Services.” He also attended Consensus 2018 and held some important meetings for us.

Community:

We have reached 18,000 QUOINERS in our Telegram community! I am very excited watching our community grow. We couldn’t get to where we are today without your support. I would love to see our community getting closer and stronger as we approach the launch of LIQUID.

1. Operations / Customer Support

4.1 Operations:

• EUR bank change:
  QUOINE PTE is transitioning from Swapforex to Mistertango for the handling of EUR deposits and withdrawals for QUOINEX customers whose banks are located in Europe. Mistertango is SEPA enabled meaning clients will be able to quickly make deposits and receive withdrawal requests. Customers whose banks are located outside of Europe are kindly requested to continue to deposit EUR to Swapforex. Any incorrect deposits made after May 18 will bounce and incur fees to be borne by customers. QUOINEX users will find Mistertango bank account information in the Deposits section.

• XRP address update:
  Please note that we already changed all XRP addresses on QUOINEX as part of an upgrade. QUOINEX users can find their new XRP addresses and destination tags in the Deposits section.

• QUOINEX and QRYPTOS System Upgrade
  As QRYPTOS and QUOINEX will merge to become the powerful, all-in-one platform LIQUID, we need to perform a number of upgrades and maintenance tasks on our exchanges. At 2PM SGT (GMT+8) on TUES May 22, we will perform a major upgrade on QUOINEX and QRYPTOS, which will be inaccessible for several hours. We thank you for your patience as we get ready for LIQUID.
