From Centralized To Decentralized Cryptocurrency Exchanges

Hello I would appreciate if any fellow steemians know and can inform me about how to move my cryptocurrencies in my coinbase account into a decentralized account. Decentralized accounts I have come to learn are under the thumb of political powers and are thus not private. I have an account with cake wallet and would love for my cryptocurrencies to be there.

I am interested in the privacy coins.
