Oyster Pearl Updates (PRL) - Future Airdrop & Test Net
CEO and Chief Architect Bruno Block just released a Medium article with details about an upcoming token airdrop for all PRL holders. The coin is called Oyster Shell (SHL), and here' a brief overview:
"Today I am introducing Oyster Shell (SHL). Shells are used to pay for connectivity and Dapp operation across the Oyster meshnet, whilst Pearls are used for static data retention on the tangle. Shell is not pegged to storage like how Pearl is. In the future you will be able to use Shells to access the decentralized web, connectivity that entirely bypasses ISPs and centralized infrastructure."
This is big news for all PRL holders and the news has already reflected the charts. As of today, the test net is also available for users to get their hand son feel with. If you're interested in giving the test net a spin - here's how:
