PIVX Class: What Is Zerocoin?
Back again with a new PIVX Class!
Today we've got a super basic description of Zerocoin for you. This should be quite helpful if you're just hearing about Zerocoin. You might have also heard that we were the first ones to implement (our own version of) Zerocoin into a Proof of Stake coin which we call zPIV. Wondering how Zerocoin makes cryptocurrency more private?

Recommend putting the link for Zero-Knowledge Proofs below your video, Youtube links never seem to make any sense and plus we watched this video from within Steemit.
The link was in the card which my finger was almost pointing at. But, I threw one up in the YouTube description, because that is a good suggestion. Unfortunately you can't edit steemit posts for this kind of thing, so we'll try and keep it in mind for the next one. In the mean time:
Was completely lost in the first two minutes, you guys should really redo this video, skip all references to other cryptos (zcash) in the beginning, and just relate how PIVX works with zerocoin. Brain totally scrambled from the get-go, and we've already read-up on zerocoin, Zcash, and ZNProofs on wikipedia prior to this video (albeit months ago).
You gotta due this stuff as if you're talking to kindergartners.
definition of "normal coins" was given in the beginning, we think, but by the time you started using it we'd already forgot what it means. Too many variables referencing other variables. This is why you should just talk about PIVX, not generalizations. then seconds later the smarmy guy was saying "regular coins". confusing.
Try to go back and remember how PIVX was conceived, and perhaps that will get you to the place where we can understand this stuff.
and while assuming we're kindergartners, also don't assume we can't learn anything. 400-level Physics is actually easy if you have a good instructor who can present the material properly.
Also, either get another actor, or tell this kid to lower the smarm factor, it's distracting and annoying.

yeah, wow, after watching whole video with 100% concentration, got nothing from that, it didn't even remind us of why we like PIVX; in fact, if we weren't already sold we'd want nothing to do with PIVX after this. but we're just one group, so maybe this worked for others?

PIVX Class is not intended to focus on PIVX alone. It exists to educate on cryptocurrency as a whole. The idea being that PIVX cares about more than just PIVX. It cares about benefiting all those who are involved in cryptocurrency and making the goals of PIVX a reality. (Things like banking the unbanked)
It's a good will project funded by the PIVX budget. If you believe that it is a bad call, vote against it in coming blocks. Just know that I am not just "the actor" or "some kid" I do all the research, write the scripts, purchase the equipment, maintain the equipment, use said equipment to film the videos, edit the videos, and manage promotions. (last one is a work in progress admittedly) I have some assistance. The PIVX translation team translated the videos, I have a person who edits the script, and just recently picked up a wonderful sound engineer who is helping improve audio quality. So replacing the actor means replacing the entire show, keep that in mind for proposals.
In regards to being smarmy.... I've got nothing. I'm doing my best to engage the audience instead of giving dead pan deliveries. Maybe you could be more specific on what irritates you and I can consider it. Note, I am Canadian and we don't use the word Smarmy and I only know the word from shows like Doctor Who.
I'd also like more detail on what you got stuck on. This would help me in improving the videos to make them more likable and helpful. Everyone benefits. :)
