One of the reasons I spend so much time researching projects before I invest is so I can avoid any form of panic when the markets dip/correct/whatever you want to call it.

Holding has never been an issue for me because if I've parted with my cash, I believe in the overall project. This is why I've stopped relying on chart analysis, and started thinking about projects that have real world value. The cream always rises to the top :)
