How to manage your Cryptocoins portifolio

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

On my first days around here on Steemit, i wrote a post about faucets, and at the end of the article, i recommended an web app called Cointracking as a way to control your cryptocurrency portfolio.

At that time was still exploring the what programs were avaiable around the internet to help manage the cryptocurrencies portfolios.

After some a few months testing some of them i arrived at the definitive conclusion that Cointracking is indeed the best Cryptocurrency Portifolio Manager avaiable today.

It does have some small problems, but the amount of utility it provides make it possible to oversight all these small flaws.

Cointracking have a free version, where you can register 200 entries related to your Cryptocurrencies operations. I fount it so useful, that when i hit the 200 entry limit, i finally decided to buy an one year signature, wich costs 0.012 BTC.

But think about my surprise when i clicked the button to pay the subscription, i saw this:

Pay with Altcoins

And when i clicked, i saw this:

Yes! You can use SBD and STEEM to buy the subscription! (Or a lot of others Altcoins)

To me, it is a big win to the cryptocurrencies everytime i see things like this.

In the end, i settled down using some extra ETH i had.

But why should you use Cointracking?

If you are like me, then you like to control your finances and investments with some degree of details, which allows you to analyse where is your money flowing to, and how good are your investment decisions.

Cointracking is a really powerful tool for portfolio management. Here is some of the main features i like:

  • It have an almos real-time update of the coins prices, and it have a huge amount of coins on it. Every time you register a transaction, you choose the coin from a list, and the reports will always have an updated price of the coin.

  • The main dashboard is pretty informative, and costumizable. It allows a quick glance at how your portfolio is allocated, wich besides being pretty informative, it also pretty.

  • It allows you to import your transactions history from a huge amount of exchanges and wallets, wich ease up a lot the process of entering your transactions.

  • There is a lot of report for you to analyze your cryptocurrencies transactions, and with the help of the extra fields when you register a transaction (Exchange, group, comments), it allows you to create a lot of personalized reports. Want to see the final profit of your trades an especific exchange? Done. How about your mining profits? No problem. Maybe see how much your portifolio increased in value in a certain period of time? Check

  • Trade Analysis, Average price of your coins, balance per exchange/wallet, Trade fees, Realized and Unrealized gains... These and more are reports that you can see on Cointracking

I really recommend this app.
