Lisk: "Rebrand/Relaunch" February 20th

This article is about the cryptocurrency known as Lisk. On February 20th, 2018 Lisk will be relaunching their company at the Westhafen Event & Convention Center in Germany. It is here that the team finally plans to unveil the new brand and the technology they have been working so hard on for the last few years. Hopefully, we will finally get to see if they are actually releasing their Software Development Kit AKA "SDK." The last time Lisk had a meetup like this was back in November, and it did not go well. The price plunged immediately, although it has recovered nicely since. Apparently there were delays on their SDK and a few Lisk Developers left the project.

I am hoping that the Lisk team has learned from their mistakes from the past meetup. There will be a lot of eyes on this meetup, waiting to hear some positive news and results. I personally, have bought some Lisk in the last few weeks. I think the price could rise on the hype. Although, it could be an example of "buy the rumor, sell the news." This would mean that the price rises leading up to February 20th, but profits are taken out before the actual news is released, causing the price to drop. Or in the last meetup example, the news was disappointing and big sell orders sold on the negative news.

If I find that the price rises quickly leading up to the event of February 20th, I will probably sell 50-75% of my position and hold onto the rest just in case the news is also positive. If you guys remembered, On June 22, 2017 Ant Shares (“Chinese Ethereum”), announced it would be re-branding to the company we all now know as NEO. On August 14th, just six days after their relaunch was official and finalized, the NEO price jumped 667% to sit at $50 (up from $7.50). I am not saying that Lisk will have that kind of success, but you never know, so that is why I will hold some Lisk after taking some profits off of the table...hopefully.

At the time of this post Lisk is currently trading at $26.46 USD (23.41%) or 0.00264625 BTC (24.33%). The All Time High (ATH) for Lisk was around $38.40, so I feel that there is still room for Lisk to grow and I believe if there is enough hype around Lisk, new ATH's could be reached. However, I am an amateur and not a financial advisor, this is just my personal opinion.
