Iran becomes latest rogue state to develop its own cryptocurrency
Iran's minister of information and communications technology tweeted Wednesday that state-run Post Bank is working on developing a cryptocurrency.
The Iran Front Page news site added that the Central Bank of Iran is cooperating with other institutions to control digital currencies in Iran.
Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro said late Tuesday that the country's oil-backed "petro" cryptocurrency has raised the equivalent of more than $735 million.
Anyone starting to notice it is all the communist, socialist and dictatorship countries banning and creating their own currency. Yeah not letting the USA turn into this ill fight tooth and nail every day for it.
to my thinking the worst thing that can happen to Venezuela is that petro currency because they want to make up a bad economy and a devaluation of the Bolivar with that petro which will not fix anything
In my opinion, the creation of cryptocurrencies gives the country an advance, but if that country is in a good political, social and economic position which is not the case of Venezuela. the president must attend to other priorities before launching his petromoneda.
