🎵🎤 Bitcoin Music: Songs of the Blockchain 🎵🎤 I selected the best ones for you
Bitcoin isn't just a cryptocurrency: it's a cultural revolution too! Bitcoin enjoys a lot of popularity not just because of it's value, but equally because of the impact it will have on our society and in particular the financial system. The Bitcoin culture is full of memes, humour, and even music. Yes, did you know there is a lot of pretty good Bitcoin music out there? I compiled a list of some of the more quality ones!
I seperated the music that I found and liked into a couple categories, so you can pick whichever musical genre appeals to you! I roughly divided it into Pop Music (and everything else), Country & Western, Rap & Hiphop and Vintage/Classic.
There's a LOT of stuff out there, but I tried to make a selection based on quality. So each and every one below is a pretty decent one at the very least, if you're into that genre. And in some cases the quality was surprisingly good, even exceptional.
BITCOIN POP MUSIC
I was inspired to make this post when I found the video below on Reddit, by Naomi van der Velde who sings her version of 'All About that Bass', but titled 'All about that Bitcoin'. I was struck, because it's actually quite good and enjoyable to listen to!But there's a lot more music out there. Like Naomi Brockwell's version of Bitcoin Girl (Uptown Girl). I liked it a lot!
Tatiana Moroz sings a beautiful live ballad about Bitcoin, very enjoyable to listen to, with thoughtful lyrics.
This next song is a little more electric and 80's sounding. I forgot which song this is originally based on:
Laura Saggars does a nice pop song about 10.000 Bitcoins too:
RAP &HIP HOP
Most of the Bitcoin music out there is actually Rap or Hiphop! I guess that's because it's mostly a guys' world, and probably more people can Rap than actually sing. But there are some really good quality Rap & Hiphop songs out there, with excellent lyrics and music. Much better than I had thought!We'll start with a pretty good and high quality one called Welcome To the Blockchain (The Bitcoin Song). I think this is pretty on par with professional productions!
Another one that's excellent quality and production is this song by Gramatik called Satoshi Nakamoto:
This next one I actually really like because of it's unique music style combined with rap! Not only are the lyrics very good, but their sound is also very unique. It's like a modern day Bitcoin Beastie boys:
The Bitcoin Freestyle follows next, a bit of a step down from the high quality productions but still good:
Bitcoin Billionaire is a more recent creation, more intended as a funny rap song than the others:
This Crypto Wrap-Up guy used to do weekly raps about the ongoings on crypto. Too bad he stopped, I thought he was pretty good:
This next one is called BTFD (Buy the Fucking Dip), and is pretty good too:
And the last song in this category is called Lambo Land by Team HODL and it reminds me a lot of 'crazy white guy rap' songs that we have a lot nowadays:
COUNTRY & WESTERN
There's a lot of country & western Bitcoin music out there too! Most of it is funny and has clever lyrics.Like Bitcoin Bob in the video below, singing about wanting our money and markets to be free:
This next one is more uptempo, called Bitcoin Trader:
Of all the Country songs I liked this next one best of all. Maybe it's because the lyrics are the most thoughtful and a little more than cheap laughs. It is called Ode to Satoshi:

And we'll close out with another one that's got a more semi-serious tone:
VINTAGE & CLASSIC
This is a funny Doo-wop style song about 'Holding for the Longest time'.

Beyond the ones I just posted here, there are a lot of others too! Much more and too many to list here in fact. If you enjoyed this, you may want to go on Youtube and search for some more Bitcoin Music and you'll find plenty more, both old and recent.
And lots of other genres too, like Crypto Reggae!

I had to make some kind of selection.. there really is a LOT of this semi-funny crypto rap going around.. quite a bunch of youtubers who do it
Really? Are people making crypto rap lately? Is it a trend or something? What happened to buying lambos and shit, lol. We're all so broke that we can only rap about the moon. :))
Well, I still don't get how that song didn't make a list, it's funny as fuck lol. Jeff was a white rapper back in the day, haha.
No it's been going on for years, some of the music I posted above is from 2013 or 2014 in fact.
But rap is the usual go-to style of music for most people who can't sing :)
Even non-rhythmic white guys can do it!
Check out some of the rap songs in the post, some are really good even if I am not a fan of rap music. Especially 'Welcome to the Blockchain' is a very talented and a great production, but the Bitcoin Baron is very skilled too. It's really a different league!
Haha, I'm not for that long in crypto, lol. Rap is the go-to for anyone, it's easier, but white guys are never good at it, haha.
They are interesting, not really my style to be honest but they are cool. Soo many sogs seems like you got bored today, I have no idea how you manage to find them.
Haha, yes I got bored.. but also inspired by the first video by Naomi van der Velde (who incidentally happens to be the daughter of the Bitfinex CEO..). Once I saw that video, I looked on Youtube and found some others which were pretty good so I kept looking and eventually figured other people may like these videos and songs too!
It's epic when the kids of famous Bitcoin people get involved into crypto too, but not too many of the celebs actually have kids, as far as I know.
I think if Roger Ver and Richard Heart both had kids, their kids would talk shit to each other too, haha. :)
