Bitcoin is not the answer to a better monetary system

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not the answer to a better monetary system that is free, fair, and solve our current problems. It's just a new dress on the same thing.

Not as long as:

We don't change our values. The belief that money is it and living should come from the monetary system itself bitcoin is doomed to fail in the same way the current corrupt fiat monetary system is. When money are made by money, the principle behind financial markets, it drains our societies from life energy similar to loosing blood. Cryptocurrencies will do the same thing unless we upgrade our value based software in our heads.

It cost btc to send it. It should be free similar to giving someone a coin in their hand. The current price for sending btc is crazy.

It's not under full democratic control. Even though bitcoin is a more decentralized system than our current central bank one we still need much more transparency and control from a democratic standpoint.

The basic idea is good but not yet functional. In the meantime it challenges bank's monopoly and that's a first step.

"The basic idea is good"

In nature, 'good' is many times good enough. I cannot follow your first argument: 'We don't change our values'.

On democratic control: I think this concept is overrated. What we want is no central ruler. Anyone can join. That in practice many people complain but do not invest a few $ to become an miner themselves or start learning coding, is a fact of life I am afraid. Friction...

The totally free society is an illusion. Sometimes we need a "central ruler" but it should be based on common goals and free will.
