You didn't understand a thing about what is being said. Crypto can't take the place of a physical asset with a value. You can't make oil or gold out of crypto. These things need to be mined. Crypto can replace only the forms money that are used as a medium of exchange such as dollars, yen, euro etc.
By replace, I mean taking place of something else. If people stop using the dollar and start using BTC as reverse currency, then BTC will take over USD's market share and replace USD with Bitcoin as the world reserve currency.
