Socializing Cryptos, Pt. II

As I reflect on my previous post, it was primarily from the perspective of creating a differentiated social media outlet. A blend of YouTube, Reddit, and Facebook. However, SteemIt is also creating a differentiated cryptocurrency.

Whereas the largest players (Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum) are driven by the transactional speed and security of the underlying blockchain, Steem is driven by the ability to distribute to the masses and reward for content. It has a real-world use case that sets it apart from the rest of the field.
