What is STACK? (STK)

Stack is a new personal finance platform, built on the idea that using your money should be free. Stack provides a sort of all in one wallet, where you can use your traditional fiat with your current bank, or cryptocurrency. Certainly a huge problem facing cryptocurrencies today is usability. Imagine trying to pay for a coffee with bitcoin, and having to wait 45 minutes for the transaction to be confirmed. That's where the STK token comes into play. With STK, transactions can be virtually instant.

Undoubtedly, the ability to make instant, in store purchases will speed up mass adoption of crypto. I especially like the idea that you can use multiple cryptocurrencies with the STK wallet. However, merchants will definitely be reluctant to accept hundreds of different forms of payment. With stack's real time exchange from crypto to fiat, this is no longer an issue.

One competitive advantage stack has over other crypto finance platforms, is the partnership they've made with mastercard. This would allow them to be accepted by 39 million merchants.

Overall, stack does a great job detailing exactly how their technology will work. 20,000 people have already signed up for the private beta launch, coming in March. According to the white paper, 55% of funds will go to marketing, 20% to development, another 20% to operational costs, and 5% for legal fees. We can expect to see the commercial launch of the platform in the U.S and Canada this summer.

Miro attended York university in 2001-2002, where he studied business and project management. Since then, he has had multiple project managing jobs at TD, Virgin Mobile, and CIBC. His longest stay was at virgin mobile for 7 years. He has over 500+ connections.

CFO: Chad Leger.

Chad has held multiple jobs as vice president of finance. He studied at the University of Waterloo where he got his masters of management accounting.

Advisor: Ethan Wilding.

Ethan Wilding was a founding member of Ethereum. He also studied at waterloo earning a doctorate in philosophy. He was also a co-founder of ledger labs.

I am extremely impressed with the team behind stack. Many years of experience between the main figures, and an advisor who was apart of Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency. You can't ask for much more than that.

Stack is an ERC-20 token. Meaning it is backed on the Ethereum block chain. Ethereum has a huge development team behind it, and the technology is certainly one of the best.

Stack is on Twitter, Reddit, Youtube, and Instagram. They are very active on all outlets. The reddit page only has 800 subscribers as of now, but I'm sure that is only going to grow.

After scouring through the subreddit, people are definitely optimistic about this company. I would rank it higher in this category, but it is a really new crypto, so the community is small thus far. Maybe you'll see this as a positive.

This crypto looks very promising. Something to worry about is the competitive landscape, especially because stack is not the first cryptocurrency trying to make a payment platform. Also, the problem stack is trying to solve is a very complicated one, so it won't be easy. However, they have a fantastic team working on it, and if anyone is to do it, it might as well be them.
