Ripple Swell : Did you make money from it? Next opportunity is at the door step
Hi All,
I wanted to share an update with you all on how I went with my XRP trade during Swell conference. And would appreciate if someone would like to share their trade.
In my previous post (4 weeks back) I talked about buying before SWELL conference may be a good idea for us all. I bought more XRPs at $0.18 at that time. I then had two sell orders just before start of the conference.
First @ 29.99999 cents and other @ 34.9999 cents.
Only my first order got filled and I happy that it did. This is the first time I tried "use the hype and make some profit" strategy and it worked well.
Going forward: I have done the same with Status (SNT) token, again as per my previous post ( 2 weeks back) Status has advertised on twitter that they have a big announcement coming during DEACON 3 on Nov.1
Let's see if I make some profits there. I'll share the results.

i missed those profit dates, i was working and didnt have access to wifi!

G'day Nabes, Thanks for your comment. I am looking forward to DEVCON to see if status tokens go up in value. Please note half of my status tokens were purchased @ 2 times the current price, the second purchase I did two weeks back was at a low price hence I intend to at least break even with Status.

I feel that. I was holding and I dindt have wifi and when I finally got it back my profit went down about $50! guess i gotta keep waiting but i dont wanna
Best to read forums, watch youtube video few days leading up to the actual announcement to get an idea of what is to be the expected price (bez of hype). I'll do that and put in a sell order a day early. I am in Australia hence hard for me to wait until the start of event/announcement.
