Crypto world welcomes Hollywood – Stars Kurt Russell, Alexis Bledel, Luke Hemsworth
A movie called ‘Crypto’ is reportedly being filmed, featuring a money laundering agent and a case concerning cryptocurrency. The cast of the movie includes Hollywood actors Kurt Russell [Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2] Alexis Bledel [Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants], Luke Hemsworth [Hickok], Jeremie Harris, and Vincent Kartheiser [Mad Men]. This movie is being directed by John Stalberg.
As reported by Hollywood Reporter, John Stalberg expressed:
“I am overjoyed to be working with such an incredible cast to bring this thrilling story to life, Beau [Beau Knapp] is incredibly talented, and seeing him bring this character to life opposite talent like Alexis, Kurt, Luke, Jeremie, and Vincent has been a dream come true.”
This upcoming thriller movie is currently filming in New York, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The movie supposedly takes place in a U.S. government agent’s remote New York hometown, where the agent’s father [Russell] and brother [Hemsworth] are struggling to maintain their family farm in a changing economic landscape.
“The Reporter” described the movie’s plot:
“Crypto centers on a young anti-money laundering agent, tasked with investigating a tangled web of corruption and fraud. The agent quickly finds himself enmeshed in a dangerous underworld populated by a mysterious art dealer a cryptocurrency enthusiast turned cyber-sleuth and a corrupt accountant doing the bidding of ruthless clients.”
