NOIA Network Partnerships and Collaboration.png
NOIA is building a “Programmable Internet,” which allows for ISPs, Data Centres and individual infrastructure providers connect to Distributed Ledger and sell infrastructure as internet transit. This can be done through the NOIA Platform, which is World’s First Programmable Internet Backbone As a Service.

To build a robust network, it is necessary for NOIA to foster healthy partnerships. Fortunately, it looks like they have been extremely busy in recent months doing just that. In this article, let’s take a quick look at some of the crucial partnerships they have established.

NOIA Partnerships

1 NOIA - Cisco

The Cisco-Noia partnership is built around Segment Routing.

Cisco is one of the largest supporters and developers of Segment Routing technology. They’ve already introduced Segment Routing support to many of their hardware devices, deployed across hundreds of enterprises and public networks. This increases the availability and adoption of Segment Routing worldwide.

NOIA Network happens to be an early contributor to Segment Routing IPv6 technology. To further expand Segment Routing adoption across networks globally, NOIA has developed an “SRv6 tool.” This was built in close collaboration with the Cisco Segment Routing team, designed to discover faltering internet traffic packets across different providers.

The Cisco SRv6 team has validated NOIA’s code and included it into the Segment Routing code repository for further development and adoption. More information and the code itself is accessible here:

2 NOIA and Microsoft

NOIA is a part of the Microsoft for Startups program. As part of the partnership, NOIA will work together with certain Microsoft teams to help them scale and develop their business. As long as they are a part of the program, NOIA will:

Gain access to Microsoft tools.
Get assistance and consulting on its business case.
Make valuable new connections with customers through Microsoft Accelerators.

So, why is this huge news for NOIA?

Being part of the program promises growth, fast learning and many new opportunities.
NOIA has received credits to use Microsoft’s cloud service. They have also started searching to find the best possible team to consult and work together with them on their IPv6 implementation.
Being part of the program will increase their exposure to large enterprises.
Finally, the credibility that they will gain for being a part of the program will be invaluable.

3 NOIA and Databank

Databank is a company which offers cloud infrastructure-as-a-Service(IaaS), rents bare metal servers and provides virtual desktop infrastructure for businesses. They have become one of NOIA’s Proof-of-Concept clients. DataBank clients will now have an opportunity to choose NOIA SDN as their Network-as-a-Service solution.

4 NOIA and TomoChain

TomoChain is a PoS blockchain network designed with low latency, high TPS capacity, and near-zero fees as its foremost planning considerations. The project is striving to solve the scalability problem with the Ethereum blockchain and other blockchain platforms. As part of the partnership, NOIA aims to explore the possibility of developing its services on TomoChain’s secure, low latency, and near-zero fee transactional system with data store ledger functionality for internet topology.

5 NOIA and Portal Network

Portal Network is a decentralized web hosting platform which enables people to buy domain names on Ethereum, Wanchain, and ICON name service, and host their decentralized website using IPFS and Bluzelle as file storage and database services.

This partnership will enable NOIA to develop content delivery services for decentralized websites and decentralized applications.

6 NOIA and Cherry Servers

Cherry Servers is an international Bare Metal Cloud services provider with its headquarters in Lithuania. Bare metal server is a single physical computer dedicated to a customer. NOIA's primary partnership responsibilities will include connecting all the data centers of Cherry Servers.

Connecting Cherry Servers data centers through NOIA will improve the quality of their services, especially for clients that have their Bare Metal machines in several data centers across Europe.

7 NOIA and Cloudvisor

Cloudvisor is an intelligent cloud management system created by a team that’s been in the industry for over a decade. The main purpose of their product is to significantly reduce cloud costs on production and mission-critical applications without compromising service stability or requiring any changes in architecture.

NOIA will receive Cloudvisor’s technical expertise concerning AWS platform that they'll use as a part of their NOIA Backbone. As a result, NOIA will enable its clients to use both hybrid cloud (cloud + on-premise) and multi-cloud solutions that will be connected into a single NOIA Software Defined Network which they use. It is hoped that this partnership will make NOIA's network as a service (NaaS) more flexible and customizable to their varying client needs.

8 NOIA and Baltneta

Baltneta is one of the largest ISP’s in the Baltic and Nordic regions. Baltneta will be thoroughly testing the NOIA Node Client on its own systems. Their goal is to analyze the strength of the business case for using NOIA as a means of addressing the issue of excess capacity at non-peak times.

9 NOIA and e-shelter

E-shelter is one of the leading data center operators in Europe, providing highly secure environments for housing and connectivity of IT and network systems. e-shelter will provide NOIA with the opportunities to:

Ensure high-performance network clusters for testing, running private networks and ensuring SLA in public network
Deploy, orchestrate and monitor clusters of Virtual Private Servers in an automated and reliable way
Ensure on-demand scalability of VPS or network resources
Conclusion

With each new partnership, the momentum continues to build for NOIA Network’s innovative and powerful new content delivery infrastructure. Only time will tell if NOIA will continue to foster such powerful partnerships in the future.
