Makeup Inspiration from the EOS Logo.

Hi guys! What have you been up to? I hope that everyone is doing fine.

Today’s Makeup Tutorial is an inspiration from the EOS logo. I turned the EOS coin into a makeup look and I’m really happy how this has turned out! I did it on the first go so hopefully you’ll like it as much as I do.

It was @ackza idea to turn the coin into a makeup look. I mean I have already done it to Steem and Steemit but this coin in particular had me caught on creating a graphic makeup look.

Keep in mind that I transferred it to a makeup look so it’s a bit different to the actual coin logo because I didn’t do a face-painting of it.

Let’s start with the tutorial:

Step 1: Concealer.

To make the colors pop, get a lighter concealer than your skin tone and apply it over the whole eyelid. Then blend it with a damp sponge or a brush.

Don’t set it!

Step 2: Cream Black Pencil:

Get a black cream pencil and apply it over the main eyelid from the lashes up to the crease.

Then take a dense eyeshadow brush and blend the cream pencil even more to get rid of any harsh lines and create a large black surface to work on.

This is the first step of creating a black Smokey eye.

Step 3: Black Eyeshadow.

To set the cream black surface, go into black eyeshadow with a fluffier eyeshadow brush and dab it on top of the cream pencil to set the cream so that it won’t crease during the day.

The reason why I used the cream black pencil at first is because I wanted to create a really dark Smokey eye since the background of the logo is black.

Step 4: Blend.

With the same brush that doesn't have shadow on it. Blend the edges a bit more and bring the shadow above the crease so that the shadow is still visible once you open your eyes.

Step 5: Clean.

I haven’t done my base makeup yet because it’s common get some fallout so I did my eyes first to prevent messing up my base.

Take a makeup wipe and clean up any fallout that you might have.

Step 6: Brows.

Do your brows as you normally would but if you still have any struggle with filling them in, I would recommend you having a look at my brow tutorial right here:

1. Brush through your brows with a spoolie.
2. Fill them in with a brow pencil.
3. Make them stay in place by adding some tinted brow gel.

Step 7: Conceal.

Take a tiny eyeshadow or lip brush and dip into the concealer again and kind of frame your eyebrows with it.

I did this because I didn’t want that the black eyeshadow to touch my brows so I created a line between it as well as blended it a bit into the black shadow.

Step 8: Waterline.

To keep the Smokey eye as dark as possible, use a black eyeliner pencil on your upper and bottom waterline.

Step 9: Lower Lash Line.

Of course, we can’t forget to add some black to the lower lash line as well!

Step 10: Draw the Line.

Now step by step, I tried to create the main lines from the EOS Coin Logo. It needs time and a steady hand.

I created the lines with some white liquid eyeliner. I wasn’t sure if it would work because the black could have mixed with the white and created grey or messed up lines.

Luckily, I didn’t mess it up and I just could focus on getting the right lines done.

Step 11: Mascara.

Once I was done with the lines, I added some black mascara to the lashes.
I was a bit annoyed by the white liquid liner because it dried so fast which made the lines crack and It didn’t turn out as smooth as I wanted.

Step 12: Highlighter.

I kept the other eye very simple just like a very simple black Smokey eye and I ended up using an icy highlighter in the inner corner of my eyes and under my brows where I made some space earlier by using the concealer.

Step 13: Lips.

For my lips, I basically just did the same as on my eyes. I created a Smokey Lip by using the same technique as on my eyes. Then I went ahead and created the same lines as on my eye also on my lip.

I corrected any uneven white lines with some black liquid liner on my lips since my lip has a heavier 3D shape.
