How to move Intense Coin wallet from one machine to another or operating system to another...

There is several ways to do this correctly.

First way is useful if the wallet is not running. Replace Username with your actual Windows user name.

1. Locate the data directory (On Windows 10, this will be C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\intensecoin)
2. Copy "intensecoin.wallet" to empty USB stick
3. Unmount the USB stick and move it to new machine or unplug it and reinstall operating system.
4. Insert USB stick and copy "intensecoin.wallet" to directory on hard disk.
5. Install and start the wallet software
6. Select File -> Open wallet, and navigate to the directory where you did copy "intensecoin.wallet"
7. When asked, enter the password you used on the old installation

Second way is useful if the wallet is running.

1. Select File -> Backup wallet, and navigate to root directory of empty USB stick
2. Save the file as "intensecoin.wallet"
3. Unmount the USB stick
4. Insert the USB stick to new machine or reinstall operating system and then reinsert the USB stick
5. Install wallet software and start it.
6. Select File -> Open wallet, and navigate to the directory where you did copy "intensecoin.wallet"
7. When asked, enter the password you used on the old installation

Third way is good if you have already installed wallet software on new machine and it's already running.

1. On the old machine, select File -> Export key -> Save to file
2. Navigate to root of empty USB stick and save the file as "intensecoin.walletkeys"
3. Unmount the USB stick, unplug it and insert it to new machine
4. Select File -> Import key -> Load from file
5. Navigate to root of USB stick and select "intensecoin.walletkeys"
6. Select Settings -> Encrypt wallet, and specify same password as on old machine.

USB stick you use can't already have files "intensecoin.wallet" or "intensecoin.walletkeys" when you do any of the steps above, using freshly formatted USB stick is always best.
