Rethinking University courses in light of Blockchain tech.

Cryptofollowers (individuals) and big enterprises as well as SME's see and understand the enormous potential of the Blockchain technology. Undoubtedly the enormous turmoil that the technology can create is not to be neglected. Neither are the opportunities. We've seen already the birth of different world-changing projects which in essence, as is the main feature of the Blockchain, replaces or erases the middleman in different relations, be it monetary transactions, securing transaction, gathering and verifying information, etc.

It is heartwarming to see the passion and dedication of the people around the globe working on new projects, using this revolutionizing technology in order to facilitate life. In light of what exists already or has yet to come into existence in the near future it is clear that things will change radically.

This brings me to my topic, which essentially is, rethinking our contemporary university classes (or even high school classes). We still live in an era where the middleman, in practically everything what we do, is of big importance. For example, we are in need of accountants or bookkeepers, lawyers (contracts), brokers, administrative clerks etc. So what we see is that universities provide appropriate education in order for governments, the companies or individuals to hire the services of these middlemen. I personally think that these services are still of a big help and are very much needed today and in the next couple of years. But soon these services will be decentralized and automated with the needed precision (eventually adding to that AI), that these middlemen will be replaced by the blockchain in one way or the other or at least that the blockchain technology will decrease their involvement to a minimum. That requires somehow a new way or rather a different approach to the classes given by universities concerning these services which are easily replaced by it. In a way the usability of these services will vanish as men make place for technology. I myself do not have any immediate answer as to how change the focus of the universities to adopt their courses to the new era of the blockchain technology. One thing is certain, falling behind or providing/teaching courses which don not bring any value or certainty in the labor market should not be the answer.

If by any chance you, the reader, has any idea of how universities should change or even if you do not agree with my post I would like to hear/read what your thoughts are on this topic in the comments below.
