ICO announced by Flixxo, a decentralized video sharing platform

I have been following Flixxo for a bit, and today, they announced their ICO, coming up on October 24th with a presale on October 13th.

On Flixxo all users share any content they have on their device with the rest of the community. So, instead of an expensive centralized server, the information is distributed and shared through the network using Bittorrent protocol. Have you ever used Popcorn Time? This works in the same way.

Free from structural costs, producers can share the earnings from their content with the network that supports them. This way you get paid for helping us improve Flixxo, and you earn credits (in the form of digital tokens called Flixx) for watching higher quality content. Having no intermediaries means that the price you pay for watching the content that you actually want to watch is lower and fairer!

FLIXX token

Flixx is an ERC20 standard token. The supply will be fixed at the beginning and no mining – or any kind of token creation – will be possible after the initial contract setup.

As Flixx is a token needed in order to participate on Flixxo platform, the purpose of the pre-sale is to grant priority and early access to those who participated in the event. Flixx tokens are no equity representation of the company.

A total of 1,000,000,000 (one billion) Flixx tokens will be issued. A maximum of 300,000,000 (three hundred million) tokens will be pre-sold. Some of these tokens (not more than 20%) could have been sold with anticipation of the token allocation event to strategic investors.

FLIXXO Token Presale will start on OCTOBER 13th, 2017 14:00hs CET.

Crowdsale will run for 30 days.
