BitNation - Meet the team and know what they've been upto

BitNation is the first Decentralized Borderless Voluntary Nation (DBVN) on the blockchain system. It is the world’s first digital nation-state that temporarily leverages on the Ethereum blockchain technology. This operating model was created for the purpose of public governance; a system that allows members of the public to create their own independent nation-states within the blockchain space. Currently, BitNation has registered more than 1000 citizens of BitNation across different countries.

The platform was created by Susanne Tarkowski Tempelhof in the year 2014, in that same year, the first digital marriage, world citizenship ID, and land titles were registered and sponsored on the BitNation platform.

In 2015, Estonia in Afghanistan proclaimed their support and partnership with the project for the purpose of moving their Legal database into the blockchain system for effective utilization and preservation.

In 2016, the platform launched their second version of Pangea. In 2017, the platform focused on escalating the team and commencing their pre-ICO sale.

This year 2018, the latest version of Pangea was launched, and it is in Panthalassa. This year, BitNation has moved their focus to the go-to-market phase which is aimed at putting offerings into the blockchain market, in other to penetrate the market while achieving their expectations.

Susanne Tarkowski Tempelhof is the founder and CEO of BitNation. Right Before she founded BitNation, she has functioned in many frontlines of government, politics where she worked as a contractor, and she was also relevant in the cultural field. Susanne is not new to cryptocurrency affairs, she has been a big crypto enthusiast since 2011 to know that it is achievable to sponsor the first digital nation-state on the blockchain. Susanne acquired her first Bitcoin in 2012, she got interested and started learning about the functioning of the crypto market. Susanne being the CEO also functions as the leader of the team.

The BitNation team is made up of experts, professionals and all-inclusive. BitNation is endowed with an experienced and more than capable core team for communication, operations, a brilliant network of advisors, not forgetting the technical team. BitNation is set to experience rapid success and growth on the blockchain. Due to the data I’ve gathered about each individual of the various teams, activities carried out on the platform is geared towards achieving their goal.

The team comprises of Sonja Prstec as the legal officer, Rachelle Traboulsi as the executive assistant, Kenneth Lillieholm as the diplomatic engagement officer, Dr Matthews John as the chief financial officer among the team is James Fennell Tempelhof (Susanne's husband) who is functioning as the Chief operation officer and many others. But the persons mentioned above play major roles in the functioning of the company's operations and management.

Besides, BitNation has a team that takes care of the communication system in the platform. This team is made up of four members; the social media manager, media director, media director, community engagement officer. The primary function of this team is to establish an active community via several media platforms. These are the core members of the communication group.
