It's like the crypto world is about to creep into facebook soon from the look of things.
It's amazing to know that the young Mark zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook is talking about bringing in the blockchain technology into Facebook, decentralizing the system and intends taking a deep study on cryptocurrency as a 2018 project.
Facebook has been in existence since 2014 from it's little beginning and now is seen as one of the most powerful and influential social platform ever existed. Now he intends to look at the advantages and the disadvantages of cryptocurrency .
David Marcus, one of the vice presidents of Facebook also has shown keen interest in this development. As one of the board of directors of coinbase, which is one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchange sites. This vision has been on his mind way back as 2012.
Zuckerberg sees the decentralized platform as a way of empowering the people.
So all eyes now on Mark Zuckerberg, king of facebook as we anticipate the turn around coming soon. This is now a world ruled by cryptocurrency.
You may leave your comments below or your thoughts on this anticipated development.
Mark does with the crypto-currencies the same as China! for the beginning forbids, then to resolve on their own terms.
Why do you think he banned all ads of cypto on facebook? =)
@stilltnc you know I'm still trying to figure it out too..
Interesting article, but frankly, I have followed his work for years, and especially recently, when he has begun to show is true colors more, and I do not trust Zuckerberg. this has the smell of a Trojan Horse. IMHO.
@udbarflower lolll.. Really funny.. Maybe we should just put eyes on him to see what he's up to.
For Facebook to be truly decentralized they'd have to adopt a Steemit like system. I have no idea how they'd achieve this considering they have hedge funds holding billions of dollars in their stock. How will they convert to cryptocurrency instead of a stock structure? These hedge funds arnt even able to hold crypto in their portfolios. I think it'll be a big challenge for Facebook but they don't have a lot of choice because the Steemit business model is far superior to Facebook's revenue dependant model, in creating a unsensored better user experience.
@honeydew2002 you have a point brother. I agree with you. It will be the best but challenging.
There is a twist, He banned adverts of crypto on Facebook, now its His project. Still thinking
@dozy exactly. But let's see what he's exploding on soon.
