My First Crypto Purchases Using Steem!

I'm so excited today. I've purchased my first cryptocurrencies!

This has been a goal of mine for a little while now but I haven't had the ability or knowledge as to how it all works.

I don't have lofty aspirations for my investment however it would be amazing to see some decent profits come back my way.

The market is looking incredibly interesting at the moment, but I figure that the only way I'll learn about how it all works is if I get involved and physically own some currencies.

My purchases were some Litecoin and Dash.

Dash is currently on an upwards trend unlike every other currency at the moment, so buying in now could have been an interesting choice. It's a currency that I really like though and looks like has a great future so I have no issue holding this long term. Here's a little info about Dash and it's recent price movements.

The other currency that I bought is Litecoin. Litecoin went above $100 on the same day that Bitcoin went above $10,000. It seems to be following Bitcoin's movements fairly closely, and is currently sitting just above $80 which is where I purchased it. Here's an article about Litecoin's recent price movements.

All of my purchases have been using Steem that I've earned on here through my blog. I can't say how exciting it is that I've created a little investment portfolio through blogging.

My next purchase will probably be IOTA, this crypto really interests me and seems to have incredible potential. IOTA has been all over the news recently, check this article out for example.

Thanks for reading guys. I'm sure you'll see me lurking more and more about the crypto parts of Steemit in the coming months. I've already started following a few of you who I see posting good content about this fascinating world.
