My First 6x 1050 ti Gigabyte Mining farm(Rig) 80mh/s Ethereum on flypool
So...
I started watching tons of YouTube videos to figure out what should i do
In the end of June it was unreal to find any video cards. When i found nvidia gtx 1060 they were gone in the next hour or the prices were way up! Double or even triple the price
1050ti were good alternative just half the way cheaper
I assembled the rig and this is how it looks now
Parts that I used:
3x 1050 ti gigabyte video cards with 7k mhz memory clock( windforce with 2 fans)
3x 1050ti gigabyte video cards with 7k mhz memory clock (1 fan)
2x 600w Evga Bronze power supplies connected with adaptor
MSI z270a-pro motherboard
and cheap processor Celeron G3900 with lga 1151 that fits motherboard
everyone advice was that 8gb was enough
so i got corsair 8gb ddr4 also should fit the motherboard)))
also i needed
6-Pack PCI-E 16x to 1x Powered Riser Adapter Card
Display Emulator (fit-Headless)
Multiple Power Supply Adapter and Daisy Chain Connector
60gb hard drive
USB watch dog that restarts pc in case of any troubles
next step was to instal windows set up wallets and miner and drivers
so after that now it looks something like this

Nice, I've been considering going the 1050ti route for a while... Are those stock hashrates or have you messed with MSI afterburner? You should try dual mining, see how they work out.
Also - I would consider getting a better PSU as bronze is going to waste a lot of power.

I used afterburner, some of the cards heat up very fast, so i just decided to overclock just some of them, but in general out of box they give around 11mh/s and overclocked 14,5 mhs
Dual mining for me add up 5% of total , i tried mining decred, now just mine ethereum
What are you mining currently and what your hash rate looking like? Also your setup looks fantastic!
I mine ethereum and probably will mine it further as expect it to grow in price because of interest of big corporations like microsoft and so on, if they invest in it who am I to doubt it)
With current ethereum prices and difficulty, is there any profit to be made? Would be curious to know what your expectation is.
I heard insiders talk of breaking into the exchanges that's why the rates are going down and you cant take out currency now, it should be back up in little bit
cant say anything about rising dificulty as more people know about it more people mine it
