What to do after a crypto coin gains like mad

I hear a lot when a coin is gaining big time, (like LTC is doing now), that people want to sell it as soon as possible. But LTC is a coin that you don't want to lose!

I think, with stable and promising coins like LTC, ETH, ETC it's better to skim off the gain and hold the coin. That way when it drops again you still have the profit and the stable coin, ready to rise again and make you the next profit. Skim off to BTC when BTC is low, and to USDT when BTC is high. That way you secured your profit!
