Bitcoin

As expected, Bitcoin pushed higher to break the descending resistance line. However, the break has, so far, had extremely low volume and bearish divergence on both the RSI and MACD. Throughout the bear run, a peak with bearish divergence has been the signal for a new dip, so this is concerning for bulls.
We'll have to see whether this break can hold above the major support/ resistance and whether it'll pick up bullish volume. A secondary descending channel/ wedge around the support/ resistance would be a good sign of strength in the market.

Ethereum

(Bitstamp:ETHBTC 2h)

ETHBTC has pushed up nicely from the 0.05533 support and will likely make a retest of the 0.05901 resistance in the next day or two. Volume still remains low, so I'm not holding too much hope for a clean break upwards. That being said, I'm not planning to build up a position until we've formed a secondary consolidation anyway. Its lower risk to buy into the pullback of a trend than the breakout, as your stop losses can be kept tighter.
However, for those who like to buy breakouts, make sure to keep a good view on the strength of the trend and the mood of the market. At the moment there is still a fair amount of downside risk.

Litecoin

(Poloniex:LTCBTC 1h)

Litecoin couldn't hold the 0.01690 support, instead drifting all the way to 0.01663, which marks the bottom of the previous consolidation channel. We've seeing some hints at bullish divergence, but its pretty weak at the moment. I'm cautious about positions in either direction at the moment. I'd recommend waiting until this has resolved then reassessing the market direction.

Monero

(Poloniex:XMRBTC 4h)

Monero is now making a test of the 0.02400 support, with a decent bounce on the current candle. As with Litecoin, its best to watch from the sidelines for this to resolve so that we can reassess the market later. I'm cautiously bullish on XMRBTC, but its still best to wait and see how this will play out at these support levels.
