RE: A comprehensive guide to Cryptocurrency

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago

Thanks a lot for this very accurate and comprehensive overview! I would only make a short comment on the risks, which are not IMHO limited to keeping your keys private:

  • Volatility has been called so many times, but in hard times like now, everyone has to admit that HODLing isn't always that easy.
  • I think knowledge about what a coin/token provides/promises is crucial. There have been some stormy pump-and-dump periods in December, mainly contributing to the instability/high volatility of the market, when virtually no investor could tell you of WHY to buy a special coin beside of a small investment (Ripple!).
  • Many investors dream of quick and easy money. That makes the market's behaviour being even more volatile, as seen in the first great correction taking place this January when the market collapsed in a bearish manner.

Looking forward to your upcoming posts!

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. You are absolutely right when you say people should know about the crypto which they are going to buy. Otherwise, they will not know the benefits and they will be driven by market news. Following your suggestion, I have compiled a new post on top 15 cryptocurrency for 2018. I have included important details about each so that everybody knows what they are buying.
