Glad to find you on Steemit @marketingmonk. Enjoyed watching you on YouTube. Now I shall enjoy watching you here. Thanks!

Glad to have you.

Great analysis, Chris. Thank you!
I would like to add couple more reasons for the EOS project using Ethereum platform:
1- since Ethereum platform is more popular than the Bitshares' or Waves' platform is, the average person quite likely feel more comfortable handling it than using Bitshares or Waves.
2- Competition is always good because companies will continue creating cutting-edge technology for their own survival.

Very nice and good video, I like this video. @naz722

just found you, great video.
i think it would be better for the investors if they done it with waves.
how high do you think it can reach by the end of 2017. uber ride, so true.

gonn get some now.

But thanks for the video, very useful.

Great video. EOS has a lot of potential so I try to buy a bit more every week or so to slowly increase my position over time (using price averaging). I expect it to have a rather large jump at some point, but predicting the timing of this jump is near impossible so instead of trying to time the best point to enter I am just grabbing a few EOS every week in small chunks.

Thanks Chris. I didn't know you were already here on STEEMIT and posted this excellent video on my channel here. Keep posting such excellent information for newbies like me who are new to these altcoins.

I hope you will follow me and then use the resteem feature :)

@artintelicoinves great explaination and analysis Chris, thanks I hope this will go a long way to answering a lot of the questions people are asking everyday about EOS. I would like to add a couple of additional points that need further understanding

  1. I have seen many people point out the fact that from the EOS T&C's on the ICO app, people are harping on the fact that the company tells you that the Ether tokens you will be holding has no value on the EOS operating system once it's launched.
My answer to this point is that, I understand this perfectly clear. If they would apply simple logic to this question that would answer this question for them. It would not make much sense to allow this temporary crowd sale token to have value on the new operating system once launched.

  2. The other point that many people are making to say it's a scam is the fact that Blockone set up it main offices in the Grand Cayman Islands and why not in the US, since the team is mostly Americans. And they assume that this was done intentionally to avoid any prosecution in the US should they vanish with everyone money.
My answer to this point is simple as well, I'm American myself and if I were developing a new Blockchain operating system, I would not set up my company in the US neither and here's why, the US government has a long history of creating legislation that could instantly have a company tangled up in red tape for years whenever they choose to do so. Most people in the Crypto space know that many governments around the world are at this very moment wondering how they can create new laws to try and control this new technology to insert themselves in the middle of the whole Blockchain arena and be the crypto police and take the privacy out of Blockchain. I believe this will never happen, they will try and fail.
To conclude I know there are many questions being asked about EOS and rightly so. But as you point out, people just do your own due deligence and if you decide you don't understand EOS then find another project to invest your money, but I wish they would please stop making these unfounded claims that it's a scam. One other small point to make.. I see a lot of posts on youtube pointing out the fact that EOS is not a working platform and that it just a concept at this stage. Well that's true and it's also true about the other 95% of other iCO that have been run in 2017

Thanks for considering my view , I am currently in touch with the EOS and Blockone team to conduct an EOS meetup here in Dubai in the next few weeks to give them a chance to answer questions and clear up people's concerns about EOS
please follow me for more updates

Very clear, thanks. Great analogy with Lyft/Uber.

It makes sense to launch off of the industry leader to try and gain as much share as possible.

Good overview and solid points.
