Today's three good news in Crypto-World- 12 February 2018

Today's three good news about Cryptocurrencies in my opinion.

First news that I read today is about Republic Protocol
Today Republic Protocol has officially completed an initial coin offering (ICO) for its REN token, raising 35,000 ether (roughly $30.5 million at current prices)

Republic Protocol is an open-source decentralized dark pool exchange. It facilitates cross-chain atomic trades on a hidden order book over the Ethereum and Bitcoin networks. Republic Protocol is a secure network where slippage is reduced considerably and higher volumes transactions can take place easily.

In my opinion this is good news. This network can change a lot for any crypto that is looking to attract big organisation

Another good news is that JP Morgan the top US bank based on assets has released 71 page-long detailed document about Bitcoin with title “Decrypting Cryptocurrencies: Technology, Application, and Challenges.”

Is this finally change from wall street ? do they finally starting to realize potential in Cryptocurrencies?
In my opinion this is definitely good news. I am waiting for more news like this one.

And last good news.

Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, said “Crypto is a real thing — it’s not going to go away,”
then he added
“This year, the world is starting to come to terms with the existence of crypto. It’s based on blockchain, and it’s very secure and very low overhead.

I think there’s clearly real utility. It’s a real phenomenon, and so everyone is coming to terms with it. I’m not against the concept of virtual currency — it’s as real as virtual goods, and video games.

And as you know, tens of millions of virtual goods are created and shared and sold in virtual reality, and people invest thousands of hours to create space ships in space that they battle against each other. So, the concept of virtual goods and virtual worlds and virtual currency all ties together.”
