Paypal Co-Founder Compares Bitcoin to Gold

In a speech at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, PayPal co-founder, Peter Thiel, stated that unlike PayPal, Bitcoin had actually succeeded in creating a currency.Peter Thiel believes that Bitcoin could be digital gold and take its place as a reserve currency. He compared many of the Bitcoin features to gold, like its limited supply and mining mechanism.
