Steemers - Please Consider This Idea - "Brands" Merge All The Time - CryptoCurrency Is Now BIG Money - Might Some Old-Time Coins "Re-Brand" Under A New Common Name - And Offer Different Tech Attributes Under "One Umbrella Brand" - And When That Happens..
Combining pools of talent within each existing brand - heck, even "consolidating" some "marketing" positions perhaps (always looking to save money of course). This would all fall under nothing different than ordinary business activity for any growing sector.
Imagine the 10th-15th marketcap coins - merging into one branded name with all their resources for example.

Your title could use some work. But your point on brand merging is very valid and true. I do not ever hope for one overarching brand as that seems too much like a monopoly to me, but with the variety of alt-coins, I believe a certain amount of mergers will be inevitable.
And it will simply be easier for billion dollar companies to merge - thanks for your consideration of my idea....... and feedback on the title processes.
