Hi steemers!
For my first Steem post i'll feature the infographic i made as an overview of the $DCR PoS system:
THIS IS STAKEY!
Decred proof-of-stake mining is done through the ticket system.
The Ticket
Represents an amount of $DCR locked in PoS until it completes its mission.
The Fork
The ticket has the power to cast votes on mainnet in order to approve or disapprove a fork proposal.
The Shield
Tickets protect the blockchain by validating blocks. Every new block calls five tickets to approve it.
The Prize
When the ticket fulfills its destiny, it returns to the owner with the reward for such a glorious mission!

Good points in this post. I was about to post a similair thread. Investing in the cryptospace might come with a high risk but honestly I don't believe the risk is that high for the people who are daring to HOLD their coins for long.
